Welcome & Thank You for Your Interest in the "A Cut Above Summit"!

I’m so excited to potentially team up with you to make this event truly a cut above the rest!

The A Cut Above Summit is a 3-day virtual event, happening September 25–27, 2025, designed to help crafters and creative entrepreneurs confidently create with their machines, grow their skills, and even turn their hobby into a business—whether they use Silhouette, Cricut, Brother, laser cutters, sublimation, DTF, or more.

How it will work

The "A Cut Above Summit" will run from September 25-27, 2025. Presentations will include 20-30 minutes of content (with up to a 3 minute minute freebie pitch). 

Along with the presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’re welcome to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have 2-3 weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy!  (this will all be available at a later date)

Each speaker is required to promote at least once via email and once on social media to ensure everyone benefits, but anything above and beyond that is totally up to you, your goals with affiliate commissions, and how much you'd like to support the event.

  • The pre-recorded presentations that are scheduled each day will become available on the morning of the schedule date at 9 AM ET.
  • If you provide a VIP All Access Pass contribution (more on what that is later) then you will also be able to share a paid resource during your presentation.
  • During the free event, there will be a Schedule web page with links to each day’s individual speaker pages. Your speaker page will include your pre-recorded video. Below that I will create a link to your free design/project file (or instructions on how to access it), a link to your worksheet (aka written instructions and supplies), an affiliate linked supply list (if provided), a link to any bonus freebie resource you create to attract e-mail sign-ups (not required) and of course, your business  information with all of your social media links, beautiful face, etc.

What I Will Need From You

1. Basic Information

 The first thing I’ll need is some basic information from you so I can finish up our Registration page and Speakers page.

This information includes things like:

  • Name
  • Business Name
  • Short Bio
  • Headshot (1000 x 1000 px, 300 dpi please)
  • Presentation Title (with 1-2 sentence description)

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in as a speaker, I’ll send you a link where you can easily enter/upload this information.

Basic Information is due by June 23, 2025

2. Presentation

Next up is your presentation! This is a 30-40 minute pre-recorded video presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something.  Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

  • A quick introduction
  • An overview of your topic
  • Teaching section
  • Up to a 3-minute freebie pitch

You can create a video with voiceover or talking while you create – it’s up to you. You do not have to appear on camera but it is encouraged at least for the introduction to the project. Speeding up or editing the less interesting portions (like applying glue, weeding, etc.) can be helpful to keep the flow going and help with the length of the video. 

You are free to use your presentation in the future, however, I ask that you not use the presentation video on your free social media channels  as this will diminish the value of the VIP All Access Pass. If you MUST use your presentation on your free social media channel, you are free to do so 6 months after the summit ends. 

Presentation is due by August 21, 2025

 3.  Worksheet & Design Files

A PDF worksheet and any SVG designs file will be provided to all  attendees for each presentation. The worksheet will include step by step written instructions, and a supply list. The SVG design file will be a separate link on your Speaker’s page.

You may provide a link to your website that goes to a project supply page with affiliate links if desired, but I will also be listing the supplies on the worksheet and on your Speaker’s page.

Your business contact information and social media links will be included on the worksheet.

Worksheet information is due by August 21, 2025

4. Photographs

You will need to provide at least 3 photographs of your finished project (square, horizontal and/or vertical).  The more images you can provide the better. The main format used in promotional materials and web pages will be square.

Guidelines for images:

  • In focus and brightly & evenly lit
  • Simple background
  • No watermarks or logos
  • Square: 1800 x 1800 pixels
  • Horizontal: 940 x 788 pixels
  • Vertical: 1000 x 1500 pixels
  • 300 dpi resolution please
  • If you have more than one example of your finished project in the video, please provide a bonus photo showing both versions in a square format

These photographs will be used in the promotion of the summit and the VIP All Access Pass.

Photographs are due by August 21, 2025

5. VIP All-Access Pass Contribution - Optional

 

The VIP All Access Pass is going to be a super valuable part of the summit experience—and I’d love to include you in it! To make it even more amazing (and to help you grow your email list!), I’m inviting each speaker to contribute one premium resource.

This could be something like:

  • An SVG design or mini bundle

  • A workbook or printable

  • A course (big or small!)

  • A 1-month membership

  • An eBook

You’re welcome to use something you’ve already created or whip up something new—it’s totally your call! This isn’t a requirement, but it’s definitely encouraged.

As a thank-you, anyone who adds a resource to the VIP Pass (valued at $20 or more) will earn 55% commission instead of 50%—plus it’s a great way to grow your audience. (We’re talking hundreds of new email sign-ups as attendees claim your bonus!)

Deadline to submit your info is August 18, and your bonus will go live as soon as registration opens!

6. Promotion

One of the best parts of a virtual summit is the amazing group of experts coming together to share their knowledge and creativity for a common goal. When we all pitch in to spread the word, it makes a huge difference—not just for the event, but for everyone involved. After all, we can’t see great results if no one knows it’s happening!

To help make this summit a success for all of us, we do ask that each speaker sends out at least one email and shares at least once on social media during the promo period, which kicks off September 6 (for me) and September 11 for Speakers.  

Affiliate Details

Once the speaker line up is finalized, I’ll set up an affiliate program for the VIP All Access Pass where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event.

To sign up for an affiliate account, please click on the link at the bottom of this section.  If you are already an affiliate, you can click on the log in link there, as well.  

Payouts will be made through Paypal by November 1, 2025.  You will need a Paypal account with an e-mail address for payments in order to receive these payments.

The commission structure is as follows:

  • 50% for all speakers
  • 55% for all speakers who include a premium VIP Pass bonus worth $20 or more*

* Affiliate payouts are subject to Paypal processing fees that will be subtracted from the total amount due

The pricing structure will be (subject to change):

  • $39 for 20 minutes after initial registration
  • $49 after that and and until the Summit begins
  • $59 during the Summit
  • $79 from then on

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault will include things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.  (Resource Vault Coming Soon)

Be sure to use your affiliate link(s). As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.
